Extreme Bishoujo Wrestling: Episode twenty-six.

The Final Pay-Per-View: EBW Forever: Night Two!

The camera fades in to the left hallway, where the Devil Lady is taking a long look at her Heart of Japan title.  Lina Inverse emerges from the far end, holding her own Full Moon title.

Konata: Welcome back to EBW Forever, Night Two... that was the final break of our final night...

Lina: You know... I really like yours better.  But I'll settle for this one.  Congrats.

Devil Lady: Thanks.  I'm gonna go in the old General Manager's office so I can watch the main event...

Lina nods, following her to the door and the two walk in.  They're both surprised as they can barely open the door... many of the EBW bishoujo have already crammed themselves into the office to watch the match.  The Devil Lady shakes her head, but a light seems to go on in Lina's head.

Lina: Hey... I think I'm gonna see if I can get a better seat.  Anyone wanna join me?

Lina turns away, walking towards the entrance area.  The Devil Lady follows, as do most of the EBW wrestlers.  Almost everybody is in the group, except for Asuka, who has already left for NERV headquarters, Princess Ayeka, who's probably in the hospital, and Sailor Moon, who's headed off to parts unknown.  The camera cuts to the ring area, as the army of wrestlers slowly make their way down the ramp.  Getting to the ringside area, they completely surround the ring, leaving only enough space in front of the entrance ramp for the participants to get through.

Konata: In traditional Japanese pro wrestling, it's considered a sign of honor and respect when wrestlers come out en masse to watch a match.  And there won't be any interference, due to Code of Honor rules.

Ryoko makes her entrance first, keeping a close eye on the bishoujo surrounding the ring.  After discerning they're not there to attack her, she runs down the ramp, rolls down into the ring, and goes to the top turnbuckle, taunting and showing off.  She hops down to the mat and watches as the camera cuts to the backstage area, where Osaka is standing in front of the vending machine.  She hits a button, finally choosing orange juice, and takes a big sip before tossing the cup in a garbage can.

Osaka: Goodbye, old friend.  Wish me luck!

Osaka hurries out of the backstage area, and the camera zooms in on the old vending machine before cutting to the ring area.  Osaka makes her entrance, looking confused herself as she rolls into the ring.  The gap in the bishoujo around the ring closes, and their peers, past and present, watch as Osaka walks over to Ryoko, her hand extended.  Ryoko looks down for a second then grudgingly shakes her hand.

Konata: Everything we've ever done comes down to this moment.  The final match in EBW history between our two biggest stars, who have only wrestled once in a match that went to a count-out.  It's a Code of Honor match... no sneak attacks, no hitting the ref, no run-ins.  Tonight, it's all going to be about who's the better wrestler.  Nothing's on the line but respect.  This one's for the fans, for the wrestlers, and for the history of Extreme Bishoujo Wrestling.  Osaka and Ryoko, one-on-one.

---

As their colleagues, past and present, watched closely from outside the ring, Ryoko started the match by running full tilt at Osaka.  Osaka, surprised by this sudden aggression, ended up getting her head rocked by a series of violent right hands by Ryoko.  Ryoko wrapped up her flurry of punches by grabbing Osaka by the arm and tossing her into the far ropes.  On the rebound Ryoko lifted one leg up to kick Osaka in the face, but Osaka was able to duck down and rebound off the far ropes.  On the second rebound, Osaka wrapped her arms around Ryoko's back.  But before she could execute a move, Ryoko thrust an elbow behind herself, clocking Osaka in the head and forcing her to let go.  Ryoko hurriedly slipped behind Osaka, wrapping her arms around Osaka's waist in the same way.  But Osaka herself thrust an elbow back, cracking Ryoko in the face and forcing her to let go as well.  Instead of going for another Rear Waistlock, however, Osaka ran forwards, rebounding off of the far ropes.  On the rebound, Osaka elbowed Ryoko in the gut, doubling her over.  She wrapped one arm around the back of Ryoko's neck, apparently going for a classic DDT.  Ryoko powered out, however, and stood up, lifting Osaka up with her arm still hooked around Osaka's neck.  But before Ryoko could slam Osaka down she shook her body and the two spun around, Osaka's body swiveled back 180 degrees and the two spun horizontally as Osaka drove Ryoko's skull into the mat with a Tornado DDT.

Osaka slowly got up, apparently a bit dizzy, as she stomped on Ryoko's torso a bit.  She slowly pulled Ryoko to her head and delivered a couple of fists to the face before wrapping her arms around Ryoko's torso.  Ryoko, however, thrusted her head forward, rocking Osaka back with a Headbutt that forced her to let go.  Ryoko immediately leapt forward, leaping forward and slamming her knee into Osaka's face with a Flying Knee attack.  As Osaka flopped face-up onto the mat, Ryoko stomped away at her viciously, stomping hard on Osaka's chest.

Ryoko slowly dragged Osaka to her feet, but was surprised as Osaka wrapped her arms around Ryoko's waist and used all her strength to lift Ryoko up a couple of inches off the ground before spinning around, slamming Ryoko down to the mat with a Belly-To-Belly Suplex.  She hurriedly turned Ryoko onto her stomach and sat down on her back, her knees on either side and her head facing the same direction as Ryoko's.  She reached her arms down and clasped her fingers in front of Ryoko's face, pulling and wrenching her head back with a Camel Clutch.  As Osaka wrenched, Ryoko slowly got to her knees, then stood up, carrying a still-clutching Osaka on her back like a backpack.  She hurriedly ran backwards at an angle, slamming Osaka into the turnbuckle pads and forcing her to let go, flopping to the mat in front of the turnbuckle.  Ryoko turned to face her and grabbed onto each of the top ring ropes with both hands for leverage as she stomped viciously away at Osaka's face.  After some more vicious stomping, Ryoko dragged Osaka to her feet and tossed her across the ring, whipping her into the opposite turnbuckle.  She hurriedly ran at Osaka, but at the last second Osaka ducked and moved away, forcing Ryoko to slam into the padded turnbuckle.  As she stepped back, Osaka slipped behind her and grabbed the back of her head.  Osaka quickly leapt forward, slamming Ryoko's face into the mat with a Bulldog attack.

Osaka hurriedly rolled Ryoko onto her back and flopped to her own back, lying perpendicular to Osaka with her feet facing Ryoko's side.  She wrapped Ryoko's near arm between her legs and grabbed her hand with both hands, wrenching her arm with an Armbar.  She pulled and yanked and wrenched, trying to pull Ryoko's arm out of its socket.  Ryoko groaned in pain, but with a shocking burst of strength she turned away on the mat, pulling Osaka up and slamming her face-first to the mat on the other side.

Ryoko got to her knees, clutching her arm as she looked down at Osaka.  She grabbed Osaka by the hair and yanked her to her feet, tossing her into the ropes.  She thrust out her elbow to hit Osaka in the face, but Osaka ducked underneath it.  Ryoko stood still, however, and as Osaka rebounded off of the far rope, Ryoko simply thrust that elbow behind her, crashing it into Osaka's face and sending her flopping to the mat.

Ryoko shook her head, slamming one fist against her palm.  She grabbed Osaka by the head and pulled her to her feet again, tossing her into the turnbuckle.  She ran over, lifting Osaka up enough so that she was sitting on the top turnbuckle.  Ryoko climbed onto the top turnbuckle as well, the two facing each other as Ryoko thrust her fist down, crashing right into Osaka's face.  Ryoko counted out loud as she nailed Osaka with ten punches.  She went for an eleventh, but a dizzy Osaka quickly thrust out a fist, driving it right into Ryoko's gut and forcing her to flop to the mat.  Looking at her position on the top turnbuckle and Ryoko lying on the mat, Osaka decided to stand up... she wasn't used to coming off of the top rope like some of her smaller companions, but she leapt into the air, sitting down in air and slamming down with her leg across Ryoko's neck with a Top Rope Leg Drop.

Wanting to capitalize, Osaka got back to her feet, walking back over to the turnbuckle.  But as she slowly climbed to the top turnbuckle a pained Ryoko had barely enough energy to get back to her feet and ran over to Osaka.  She reached up, grabbing Osaka by the waist, and hurriedly bent backwards, keeping her feet off of the ground.  Osaka went flying over Ryoko's body and slammed down to the mat behind her, her shoulder crashing to the mat with a Top Rope German Suplex.  But the sheer impact forced Ryoko to let go instead of holding her in place for a pin.

Ryoko hurriedly got to her feet, clutching her neck for a second as Osaka slowly got to her feet, holding her back in pain.  Osaka ran right as Ryoko, but Ryoko was able to grab Osaka by the neck with one hand and by the waist with her other.  She lifted her up, lifting Osaka's tiny bodyweight with a Gorilla Press.  She grunted, getting ready to toss Osaka before the younger girl wriggled out of Ryoko's grasp, landing on her feet behind Ryoko.  Ryoko hurriedly turned around and Osaka kicked her in the gut, doubling her over.  She wrapped an arm around the back of Ryoko's neck, driving her into the mat with a classic DDT.

Osaka slowly walked over to Ryoko's body, shoving her onto her stomach.  She straddled Ryoko's torso, facing the opposite directed as she grabbed both of Ryoko's feet, pulling them back so that they were locked in between Osaka's torso and each of her arms.  She wrenched back on Ryoko's legs, pulling hard with a Boston Crab submission.  Ryoko grunted in pain, but was barely able to reach out and grab the ring ropes, forcing Osaka to break the submission.  Both of them slowly got to their feet, staring each other down for the longest time before Osaka ran full tilt at Ryoko.  Ryoko, however, slid to Osaka's side as she ran past and grabbed her by the neck and waist.  She used Osaka's own momentum to make her somersault forward in her arms and dropped to one knee, slamming Osaka's spine into her knee with a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker.  Ryoko slowly stood up, catching her breath as she stomped away at Osaka.

Ryoko took a deep breath as she pulled Osaka to her feet, punching her in the gut to double her over.  She grabbed Osaka by the waist and pulled and turned her upwards so that she was sitting on Ryoko's shoulders but facing the opposite direction, the classic Powerbomb position.  Osaka, however, fought back by punching downwards, striking Ryoko in the face.  It wasn't enough, however, as she slammed her forward, slamming her back-first to the mat with a Powerbomb.  She didn't let go of Osaka's waist, however, as she slowly pulled her upwards and stood up, lifting her up again and slamming her to the mat with a second Powerbomb.  But apparently even a Double Powerbomb wasn't enough as Ryoko kept a hold, lifting Osaka again as she stood up again.  But before she could deliver a Triple Powerbomb, Osaka started punching again, forcing Ryoko to fall onto her back with Osaka sitting on her chest.

Osaka hurriedly got to her feet, stomping at Ryoko's chest before she was able to get back to her feet.  Ryoko again punched Osaka in the gut, doubling her over, but as she was doubled over, Osaka grabbed Ryoko by the neck and waist, using all her strength to lift Ryoko up and set her horizontally on her shoulders.  The weight, however, was too much for the small Osaka and she fell backwards, slamming Ryoko back-first to the mat with a Samoan Drop.  She slowly got to her feet, taking a few breaths before pulling Osaka to her feet.  She kicked Ryoko in the stomach, placing Ryoko's head between her legs and grabbing her waist.  Ryoko struggled, but Osaka pulled upwards and sat down, driving Ryoko's skull into the mat with a classic Piledriver.

Osaka slowly got to her feet, taking the momentum as she started crouching down like a coiled spring.  She waited until Ryoko was able to get to her feet, and leapt forward, arms outstretched like a torpedo with the Sata Andagi Spear.  But Ryoko hurriedly turns away, and as Osaka flies forward, Ryoko wraps one arm around the back of Osaka's neck and hurriedly sits down, jacking Osaka's jaw against her shoulder.  Ryoko just turned a Sata Andagi Spear into a Pirate Bitch Stunner!  Taking a deep breath, Ryoko climbed on top of Osaka, going for the pinfall... but to her shock, Osaka kicked out of the pinfall attempt at the last second!

A wave of fury washed over Ryoko's face as she got to her face, mounting the still-down Osaka's waist and facing Osaka's head.  She started thrusting her fists downward, crashing violent punches into Osaka's skull with a Ground 'N' Pound attack, rattling her brain inside her skull.  After thoroughly rattling Osaka's brain she stood up, pulling Osaka to her feet.  She kicked Osaka in the gut, doubling her over before she turned around, setting up for another Pirate Bitch Stunner.  But Osaka had just enough energy to shove Ryoko forward off of her.  Ryoko ran into the ring ropes as Osaka coiled up, and as Ryoko rebounded, Osaka leapt forward like a torpedo, crashing into her with the Sata Andagi Spear!  Osaka hurriedly rolled on top of Ryoko for the pinfall... but Ryoko kicked out at the last second.  Both women had just kicked out of each other's finishing moves.

Both Ryoko and Osaka groggily got to their feet, apparently wondering what it would take to put the other one away if they hadn't even been able to get a pinfall after their finishers.  Ryoko, always the aggressor, grabbed Osaka by the waist, tossing her into the turnbuckle.  Ryoko ran forward, slamming her elbow into Osaka's face.  She followed up with a violent series of punches, rocking Osaka's head.  Breathing heavily, Ryoko walked across the ring, going over to the opposite turnbuckle.  Showing a grace and flexibility not previously seen from her, Ryoko ran forward and leapt forward, actually doing a cartwheel before turning around and crashing her elbow into Osaka's face with a Handspring Elbow.

Ryoko glanced over at Osaka dizzied in the middle of the ring, looking then up at the turnbuckle.  She slowly walked past Osaka and climbed to the top of the turnbuckle, turning to face Osaka as she stood up.  Osaka just barely just got to her feet in time as Ryoko leapt into the air, thrusting both legs outwards with a Missile Dropkick.  Osaka dropped to her knees just in time, making Ryoko sail over her and crash down to the mat.

Osaka staggered over to the turnbuckle, checking her forehead... all those vicious punches from Ryoko had managed to open a cut on Osaka's forehead, making the young girl bleed slightly.  She was shocked by this, but gulped hard and tried to concentrate as she climbed to the top turnbuckle.  She turned to face Ryoko, and Ryoko slowly got to her feet, turning to face Osaka as the young girl crouched down on the turnbuckle.  Before Ryoko could react, Osaka leapt forward, flying through the air.  She slammed directly into Ryoko's face and chest, crashing into her with the move that originally won her the first ever Heart of Japan title, the Top Rope Sata Andagi Spear!  An unconscious Osaka laid on top of an unconscious Ryoko, both having spent all their energy and spirit, leaving everything in the ring.  Osaka, however, did land on top of Ryoko with the powerful top-rope version of her finisher, and the referee counted a three-count, handing the final victory in the epic final main event to Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga.

---

Konata: These two girls, these two wrestlers, these two bishoujo, gave you everything tonight.  They gave you their hearts, they gave you their souls, they gave you everything.  They left everything they had in the ring, and in the end, whether by fate or by skill, Osaka picks up the victory.  But although Osaka got the pinfall, both of these women are winners.  Both of these women are champions.  Both of these women are the definition of extreme.

Both Osaka and Ryoko lie there for the longest time, the cheers and applause of their peers standing outside the ring deafened by the cheers and applause of the fans.  The referee checks on both of them, making sure they're both still alive, and gently rolls Osaka off of Ryoko.  Former General Manager Chiyo Mihama breaks away from the crowd surrounding the ring and rolls into the ring, trying to help her friend wake up.  Osaka indeed is the first one to wake up, breathing heavily with blood running down her face.  Chiyo wipes Osaka's blood off of her face with her sleeve as Osaka looks over at Chiyo.  Chiyo apparently informs Osaka of what happened, as a smile comes across Osaka's face and she slowly and painfully gets to her knees.  Chiyo rolls back out of the ring as a pained Osaka gets to her feet, raising her own hand in victory.

Konata: Everybody doubted Osaka from the start, but time and time again, she faced every challenge placed in front of her.  Sometimes she won, sometimes she lost, but she never forgot who she was.

After a couple of minutes, Ryoko gets to her feet as well, clutching her head in pain.  She looks over at the referee, who informs her of what happened.  As Osaka rolls out of the ring and receives hugs and handshakes from her colleagues, a frustrated Ryoko drops to her knees, clutching her head.

Konata: Ryoko's overcome her own shares of problems.  She only had one shot at the Heart of Japan, and when she took it, she won it, only to have it stolen from her by Princess Ayeka.  Ryoko overcame Ayeka's meddling and manipulation and became one of the top stars in EBW.  Both of these girls have struggled against evil and their own detractors, and have triumphed in their own ways.

Ryoko rolls out of the ring, surprised as her colleagues are shaking her hand and hugging her as well.  She looks over in confusion as two figures have broken away from the group... Heart of Japan champion Devil Lady and Full Moon champion Lina Inverse.  Lina and the Devil Lady both congratulate Osaka and Ryoko, and the four all roll into the ring, posing for the crowd.

Konata: The soul of EBW is safe, the Full Moon title is in the hands of a worthy champion, the Heart of Japan is back, even though both are only back for one night, and the final match in EBW ends cleanly with two bishoujo who clearly redefined extreme for an entire generation.  All is right with the world.  Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for us to go.  For Extreme Bishoujo Wrestling and all the proud employees and wrestlers we've employed, to all of our dear fans, those who have stuck with us through the storm, through the fire and flames, I'm honored to say that I'm Konata Izumi, your lucky star, and proud commentator for Extreme Bishoujo Wrestling.  Good night... and goodbye.  EBW Forever!

Konata takes off her headset and joins the group hovering around the ring, garnering commentary silence for the final time.  Lina and the Devil Lady roll out of the ring and Osaka motions for a microphone, looking over at Ryoko.  A member of the ring crew tosses the mic to Osaka and she picks it up, but before she can speak, Those Who Decide Such Things... Princess Sasami, Miss Sakaki and Queen Beryl... emerge from the entrance ramp, with Sasami holding a microphone.

Sasami: Everyone... it's time to go home.  Washu's turned on the dimensional generator she used to bring everyone else here, it's hidden in the basement of the building, but because of all the disasters that went on in Japan recently, the barrier between our dimensions is still weakening, and if we don't go now, it'll be too weak to go through with totally shattering it.  Asuka, Ayeka and Usagi have already all gone through.  Everyone go ahead and say your goodbyes to everyone else, then we've gotta go.

Osaka: Okay... but one more thing.  Ryoko... you and I have been here since the first ever show, and since then, I've fought hard as I could to be brave and fight off everyone who said I was slow, who said I was weak.  I really drew inspiration from you, Ryoko, even when we fought.  That's why I wanted to fight you tonight, on our last night.  It's like I said when I had to fight Saturn... the best way to honor another wrestler, according to Chiyo-Chan, is to give them your absolute best.  I gave you everything I had tonight, and I know you gave me everything you had.  Thank you.  And thanks to all our fans, for watching us all this time.  It's gonna be sad to go away, but everyone's gotta move on.  I'll remember the people I met here and the stuff I learned here forever.  You'll all be in my heart... forever!

Osaka drops the microphone at her feet, her tears mingling with the blood trickling slowly from her forehead.  She slowly walks over to Ryoko, extending her hand... they'd shaken hands before the Code of Honor match, but not afterwards, as the rules dictated.  Ryoko simply glances down at Osaka for a minute... then instead grabs the microphone herself.

Ryoko: When I first agreed to join Extreme Bishoujo Wrestling, it was for one purpose, and one purpose only.  To kick Princess Ayeka's snooty, scrawny little ass.  Everything else, even the Heart of Japan title, just got in the way of that goal.  But after I finally took care of Ayeka, and started focusing more on wrestling for wrestling's sake, that's when I really started to get a true feeling for this place.  And watching you was a big part of that, Osaka.  On the night I finally won the Heart of Japan, you were more concerned with getting your friend back.  There's something about you I can't figure, Osaka, but I guess if I figured it out, it'd lose its magic.  As soon as we're all back in our own dimensions, I'm gonna talk to Washu about this whole multi-dimensional warp thing.  Because if we can't do Extreme Bishoujo Wrestling again, who knows... maybe we could just hang out together for a little while.  I'll get Ryo-Ohki to do her spaceship thing, and we can go up into space together, I know you'd like that.  Maybe when we're up there, we'll find the place where what we've done here has been written in the stars... forever.

Ryoko drops the microphone and not only grabs and shakes Osaka's hand, but pulls her close to her, embracing her.  The two share a tearful hug, and there is barely a dry eye among their colleagues.  Sasami drops her own microphone as Those Who Decide Such Things leave through the entrance curtain first, then the rest of the EBW bishoujo, all past and present follow, including Milly Thompson with her Hardcore trophy, Lina Inverse with her Full Moon title, Puchiko and Haruhara Haruko with their Tag Team trophies and the Devil Lady holding the Heart of Japan.  At the very end, only Osaka and Ryoko remain.  The two roll out of the ring and start to leave, but halfway up the ramp, Osaka collapses to her knees, holding her back in pain.  With a smile, Ryoko backs up and helps Osaka climb up, carrying Osaka piggyback.  Osaka waves goodbye to the EBW faithful as she and Ryoko disappear through the entrance curtain.  The lights in the entire arena shut off, and the show fades out for the last time.

And the show ends with a blast. Ayeka gets some well deserved comeuppance and the move of the match made sense for bringing new people into the match, albeit just leading to more chaos in the end. The Inner Senshi never seemed to get a break with your booking, but Lina getting the win makes sense although a shame it couldn't have been clean. The big tag match was a fun brawl with it leading to Asuka's downfall, felt a bit sorry for her towards the end there, although there were few ways her character could have gone else. Had been rooting for Osaka throughout this fic so it was really good to see her come out on top of her match in a clean way and the final goodbyes were sweet. A feel good ending to the bit and was rather fun to read. Good job with it.
